Plenty of comics out this week and plenty of them have to do with Avengering and the likes. Most of those will be on this list.
Avengers 21
Infinity continues in two different places this week (both of which make this list) as we're bound to see both what's happening in space after the resistance's moral victory (and relatively small physical victory) and what's happening on Earth. This book will likely show what's up in space. Interested to see how the Avengers will move after their short burst of good fortune. Also interested to see what's going to happen with all those Ex Nihili who seemed to rally last Avengers issue. Plenty going on in this event, still. Good to see.
Hawkeye 13
Oh my god, there's a Hawkeye book out again. I think I might have heard that there are two weeks in a row of Hawkeye which might sort of make up for the lack of it over the last few months. Very happy that this book is back.
Hunger 4
The Hunger miniseries draws to a close as Rick Jones throws himself headlong at Galactus and his newly found swarm while Silver Surfer backs him up. As I mentioned in yesterday's post, Cataclysm is on its way and it may have something to do with Galactus and the end of the Ultimate Universe, which would lead me to believe that Galactus might not lose this battle. Still interested to see how it plays out. Nice little mini.
New Avengers 11
Another incursion?! In the middle of Thanos' strike on Earth?! With Namor directing Thanos' troops to Wakanda?! And Dr. Strange not even aware of the damage he's done on Earth by directing Thanos to his son?! Punctuation abound as I look forward to another New Avengers issue, this one tying to Infinity and also to what's happened throughout the series as a whole. Apparently Hickman had a pretty good idea of how the next couple years of Marvel would lay out when Marvel NOW hit.
X-Men Legacy 18
Everything David has feared throughout the series seems set to happen and, to add insult to injury here, Blindfold's jerk brother Luca is back on the scene, ready to watch as David destroys the mutant race. Smart money says David won't destroy mutants in this series but boy, what a twist if he did. The great thing about this book is that, even if he doesn't decimate mutants like so much M-Day, there's going to be something worth reading coming out of this book. I really like this series and these characters are among the best defined in any series right now.
