New Moon Knight Series Announced!

A new MOON KNIGHT series has just been announced and boy is this one pretty exciting. Set to launch in March, the new series will find Moon Knight up against what writer Warren Ellis dubs "weird crime." Because yes, the writer on this MOON KNIGHT series will be Warren Ellis. And that's not all: we're also getting art from Declan Shalvey and Jordie Bellaire who I as recently as this past week lauded for being "on top of [their] game." I love Moon Knight and think he's a really interesting character and it's exciting to see Warren Ellis re-entering the Marvel Universe (I think his last foray was his set of one-shots during the transition between Ed Brubaker and Rick Remender on the last volume of SECRET AVENGERS, where he actually wrote Moon Knight for a time, though that won't have been his last by the time the new series drops; he's set to co-write a few AVENGERS ASSEMBLE issues with Kelly Sue DeConnick starting, I believe, next issue). The way Ellis describes him nicely puts him into perspective, too. He's a man who wears a crescent shaped cape and all reflective white and who only goes out at night; there's not anyone out there who can't see him coming and that's who this guy is. Exciting times abound.
